Yoga for Peaceful Minds
6 week course commencing 1st September, 2012
We all at times experience stress, worry & anxiety – these emotions are natural responses to life events. Sometimes however these feelings can become overwhelming and affect our ability to function with clarity and in a state of inner peace – a state which yoga insists is our birth right.
Excess stress can effect us in many ways ~ on a physical level, our sleep patterns, how we relate to others etc. Yoga provides tools that help us to release chronic patterns of stress and tension, often the pre-cursors to anxiety and depression, help us deal effectively with life’s challenges and live happier, healthier lives.
During this 6 week course, you will learn how a simple yoga practice incorporating postures, breath work and meditation/relaxation techniques can assist in releasing stress and tension, helping you to maintain a sense of balance in daily life. Each attendee will also be provided with an individually designed designed program for home practice.
