Svastha Yoga for Healthy Backs
6 week course ~ commencing 2nd September
Back pain can make us feel pretty miserable! It is one of the most common physical ailments seen today and can occur for a variety of reasons. - overuse, lack of core strength, injury and even severe stress can all contribute to discomfort.
Yoga can definitely help with both acute and chronic back pain, however it is important to understand the movements that will alleviate pain and those that may aggravate the condition - this will always be dependant on the problem.
During this 6 week course you will be introduced to simple movements synchronised with breath that will strengthen and stabilise areas of weakness and increase mobility where there is stiffness and tension.
Numbers in this course are limited to ensure that each person's individual situation is addressed. Each class will include discussion, a gentle asana practice (postures) tailored to suit individual needs and a period of relaxation.
Each attendee will also be provided with an individually tailored program for home practice.
